These images show nearby Charles County farmland turned into a solar farm instead of succumbing to spraw. Notice the close proximity to a major above ground powerline which is an important consideration for this location. There was considerable activity during construction, then once completed only one nearby person needs to be on call. All operations and control are both remote (Texas) and/or automated.
