A Closer View of the Naval Academy from Above

A Closer View of the Naval Academy from Above

The United States Naval Academy on the Severn River, in Annapolis, Md. This shot has a beautiful view of the Naval Academy Buildings and Grounds. Also shown are the two creeks (Spa Creek and College Creek) and the Severn River that flow around the academy. A few outstanding points of this photo are Rip Miller Field (towards the upper right corner), the Annapolis Yacht Basin and Servern Sailing Association (they make up the bottom portion of the picture), Halsey Field House (towards the center of the picture), and Bancroft Hall ( as well as the many wings attached are the big cluster of buildings). To get a better idea of the many buildings in the picture we recommend visiting the site below that has a labeled map.
